After years of delays and an opening scheduled for Monday, the Team Gushue Highway extension opening is delayed again - by weather.
The Department of Transportation and Works said on Twitter that wet weather has delayed the final line painting that was supposed to be completed Sunday.
The department says an update will be provided when the highway can safely open to motorists.
The Telegram will provide that update when it becomes available.
