Security cameras at a Paradise-based construction business caught three men trying to steal heavy equipment early Monday morning.
On Tuesday, Jeff Pretty, who works for L&N Excavating & Contracting, posted a series of still images to Facebook warning other equipment owners of the bandits.
The men weren’t able to get the machines going.
It’s not known if the same three men are responsible for a heavy equipment-assisted break and enter at the Sobeys on Kelsey Drive that occurred a short time after Pretty’s cameras captured this footage.
The RNC is still investigating that theft and another similar break-in that occurred Sunday morning at the TD Bank on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s.
