St. John's, N.L. — Shortly before 4 p.m. Friday, the RNC responded to a residence in the east end of the city of St. John’s after reports a wanted man was there. As a result the 24-year-old suspect was arrested under several warrants and held for court Saturday morning.
In another incident, just after midnight, the RNC responded to a complaint of an assault at a home in Torbay. At the residence officers arrested a 17-year-old male for assault and assault with a weapon. He was held for court.
Later, at about 12:30 a.m.Saturday, the constabulary responded to a complaint of unknown trouble at a home in the centre city area of St. John’s. In that incident a 56-year-old man was arrested and charged with assaulting police officer. He was held for court in the morning.
