Timothy Russell Sheppard made a brief appearance in provincial court in Corner Brook on Monday to have his bail hearing set over.

The 47-year-old York Harbour man is applying to legal aid and has an appointment for later this week. Peter Chaffey, who appeared with him as duty counsel, asked for a return date of Feb. 13.

Sheppard is facing 12 charges, including one each of sexual assault and assault and two charges of breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence.
