TORBAY, N.L. — A motorcycle accident in Torbay sent the driver to hospital Saturday evening.

The incident happened on Bauline Line near Withrod Pond at about 6:30 p.m. and left the bike lying on the shoulder of the road.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary closed the road in the area as they investigated and spoke to witnesses.

No other vehicles were involved.
