Traffic stops net illegal drivers in St. John’s Friday night

St. John’s, N.L. —
 A woman was ticketed and her vehicle was impounded after 
police caught her driving in St. John’s centre with an expired driver’s licence. The  29-year-old driver was issued Summary Offence Tickets for expired driver’s licence, an unregistered vehicle and no insurance.

Later Friday night, around 10:55 p.m.
a traffic safety stop on a vehicle in the downtown area of the city resulted in a 30-year-old man ticketed for no driver’s license, failure to transfer ownership and no insurance. The vehicle was impounded.
