A transport truck fire could have been worse Saturday evening as the vehicle was parked near a dozen other similar trucks in the St. Anne’s industrial park in Paradise.
Firefighters also initially had trouble accessing the yard through a locked gate but eventually cut through and extinguished the blaze.
An official on scene told the Telegram that the fire could have been much worse had the truck been parked a few meters closer to other trucks instead of being slightly further away.
No cause has been determined for the incident and no one was working at the business at the time.
