After a grueling seven days that saw the Biohazards traverse four countries in hopes of winning the Red Bull International Can You Make It? competition, the trio of Newfoundland ladies finished in the top-20 of 181 teams to finish the event held from April 10-17.

The group —featuring Corner Brook’s Laura Hillier (front), Mount Pearl’s Cassidy Welsh (middle) and Myranda Bursey of Hare Bay — finished 19th after collecting a total of 517 points as they moved from Stockholm, Sweden to Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

The group helped their score by reaching checkpoints, hitting adventure points and their use of social media.

By the end of the competition, they had travelled 2,055 kilometres, traded 102 cans of Red Bull for help along their journey and recorded one of the highest social media scores of all the groups.
