TWILLINGATE, N.L. – The RCMP is reminding residents of Twillingate and New World Island of the potential repercussions of illegally driving ATVs and dirt bikes on roads and highways.
Under the Motorized Snow Vehicles and All-Terrain Vehicles Regulations, operators and owners may be ticketed. The vehicles could possibly be seized, as well, the RCMP notes.
Drivers and passengers on ATVs and dirt bikes must also wear a helmet at all times.
