The RNC arrested a 51-year-old man Friday night for alleged impaired driving.

He was charged with refusing the breathalyzer and impaired driving, and was held in custody for court Saturday morning.

The arrest was made about 11 p.m. in the area of Torbay Road in Torbay.

About 1:39 a.m. today, RNC officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a Mount Pearl nightclub.

It was reported that a male was trying to kick in the door to the establishment.

Upon arrival, it was determined who was responsible and a 26-year-old man was subsequently arrested and is being charged with causing a disturbance, uttering threats and property damage.

He was also held for court Saturday morning.
