About 1 a.m. today, RNC officers responded to a call for assistance in the west end of St. John’s.
After some investigation, a 30-year-old man ended up being charged with impaired driving and breach of recognizance.
The accused also had his driver’s license suspended and he was held in the city lockup for court today.
His vehicle was impounded and he was also issued a summary offence ticket for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
At 2 a.m., RNC officers stopped a vehicle in Paradise and the driver was charged with impaired driving.
The 37-year-old was released for court at a later date and his vehicle was impounded.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man was charged early this morning in St. John’s with uttering threats to cause death or serious bodily harm, and mischief.
The charges came after RNC officers responded to a call of disorderly conduct in the west end of the city about 12:45 a.m.
The man was held in the city lockup to make an appearance in provincial court today.
