St. John’s, N.L. —Two men have been charged with assault for separate incidents inside homes in the city.
The RNC arrested a 63-year-old man shortly before 3 p.m. Friday after being called to a residence in the city’s centre. The man was taken into custody for breach of court orders and was held for court.
In another incident, police were called for assistance around 10:20 p.m. after an assault in the centre of St. John’s. That resulted in a 64-year-old man being arrested at a residence.
He was charged with assault with a weapon and brought to the lockup to appear in court this morning (Saturday).
The victim did not receive any known injuries.
