ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Public Health is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
Both cases involve men between the ages of 40 and 49 and both are related to domestic travel.
As a result and out of an abundance of caution, officials are asking passengers who travelled on Air Canada Flight 7480 that departed Montreal and arrived in St. John’s on Saturday, March 27 to arrange COVID-19 testing.
Passengers can complete the online self-assessment and referral tool or call 811 to arrange testing.
One of the men is located in Eastern Health's region while the other falls under the auspices of the Western Health Authority.
With no new recoveries since Monday's advisory, the province now has four active cases — two in Eastern, one in Central and one in Western.
There were 261 tests performed since yesterday, bringing the total tested to a round figure of 124,000.
