Two vehicles extensively damaged in Wednesday evening St. John's collision

One person was taken to hospital as a precaution following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Calver Street and Aldershot Street Wednesday evening.

One of the vehicles caught fire after the crash but firefighters with the St. John’s Regional fire department were quick to extinguish the fire.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
