The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary pulled over a vehicle travelling at 192 kilometres per hour Friday evening in St. John’s.

The stop happened just after 7 p.m. on Pitts Memorial Drive, where the posted speed limit is 100 km/h.

A ticket was issued and the man’s licence was suspended.

The vehicle was also impounded.
