ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A 41-year-old man sought by police on an outstanding warrant picked up a handful of new charges after being arrested in downtown St. John's on Monday morning.
The arrest was made when Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers showed up to a reported domestic disturbance.
The accused was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a court order.
He'll appear before a provincial court judge in St. John's this morning.
