A 39-year-old woman has been charged in connection with three recent break and enters in St. Anthony.
The St. Anthony RCMP arrested the woman on Tuesday after members from the St. Anthony and Roddickton detachments executed a search warrant at a home on East Street.
During the search police recovered property taken during the break-ins that occurred between Sept. 4 and 12 at the St. Anthony Boys and Girls Club, the St. Anthony Green Depot and a private warehouse on West Street, the RCMP stated in a news release.
Police are trying to retrieve an orange and white Stihl chainsaw stolen from the Green Depot and some air-driven impact tools stolen from the warehouse.
The woman is charged with three counts of break and enter and two counts of possession of stolen property.
The RCMP received a number of tips that aided in the investigation and has also identified a second person believed to be involved.
The investigation is continuing.
