Woman charged with drug-impaired driving after Mount Pearl accident

Mount Pearl, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a call of a single vehicle collision in Mount  Pearl around 8:30 a.m. Friday in which a car had been driven off the road into a snowbank.

After investigation a 29-year-old woman was detained. She was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drugs and refusing to provide a sample for testing.

The accused was released to appear in court at a later date.
