CONCEPTION BAY SOUTH, N.L. — A woman was lucky to suffer only minor injuries after her car rolled over multiple times Monday morning on Peacekeeper’s Way in Conception Bay South.

The mishap occurred around 9:30 a.m. just past the Legion Road exit into Kelligrews. Officials on the scene said it appeared that the vehicle, a Pontiac G5, struck a rut in the shoulder of the road, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

The road was closed for a few hours while the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary conducted its investigation. It has since re-opened.
