Mount Pearl, N.L. — A traffic stop in the Farrell Drive area of Mount Pearl early this morning has resulted in a woman facing court today, and a man charged with traffic violations.

The RNC pulled over the 41-year-old male driver shortly before 1:30 a.m. He has been charged with driving while his licence was suspended and failing to notify Motor Vehicle Registration on change of ownership.

The man was released, but the vehicle was impounded.

In addition,  a woman associated to the vehicle was arrested on an outstanding warrant for 14 breaches of a court order.

She was held in custody to appear in court in the morning.
