TILTING, N.L. — A 53-year-old man died in a fire on Fogo Island on Sunday.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police says two other individuals were able to escape the residence in the community of Tilting before firefighters from the community and nearby Joe Batt’s Arm arrived on the scene to get the blaze under control.
The RCMP investigation continues with assistance from the Fire Commissioner’s office as well as the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
