Marine Atlantic alters N.L. sailings, warns of impending weather

Due to high winds and sea conditions, Marine Atlantic says it's sailing earlier tonight from both Port aux Basques and North Sydney, N.S. terminals.

Ferries will sail from both terminals at 10:45 p.m.

Check-in time is two hours prior to departure. 

Anyone who would like ot make alternate travel arrangements can contact the toll free reservation line at 1-800-341-7981.

As well, impending weather forecasts may change the schedules for all of Thursday's sailings on the Cabont Strait from both terminals and travellers are advised to monitor the Marine Atlantic website and Evironment Canada weather updates.
