A resident of Samson Street in Mount Pearl will be wondering what happened to his yard Sunday morning after a moose spent about thirty minutes munching on what must have been delicious bushes in front of the home.

The moose was spotted at about 1:30 a.m. slowly wandering the area of Sauve and Samson Streets when it settled down for a meal just feet away from the front door of the house at the corner of the two streets.

Several other neighbours who happened to be up at the same time of the morning were also outside a couple of driveways away watching the huge animal having a post St. Patrick’s Day snack.

The moose seemed unperturbed by the attention and eventually wandered further up the street into a nearby back yard.
