Merb’ys hope to make another splash for charity

Newfoundland and Labrador Beard and Mustache Club president Hassan Hai (left) and vice-president Jeff Hillyard stopped by The Telegram and Bounty Print offices in St. John’s on Friday morning to pick up their freshly printed Merb’ys 2019 calendars. The group, which raised over $300,000 for Spirit Horse NL, is holding an official calendar launch party Saturday at the Quidi Vidi Brewing Co. from noon to 4 p.m. Funds raised this year through the sale of the $25 calendars will be donated to Violence Prevention Newfoundland and Labrador.
