Two people were taken to hospital Saturday night following a collision between a Metrobus and a car.
The collision happened on Logy Bay Road at about 10:30 p.m. when a car apparently turned left into a parking lot and into the path of the oncoming bus. The car was moderately damaged while the bus suffered minor damage to its front end and an attached bike rack.
A witness told the Telegram that the two injured people are believed to have been passengers aboard the bus. Several other uninjured passengers were transferred to a second Metrobus that was called to the scene.
The collision is under investigation.
