The Royal Newfoundland Constabular reports that a missing 49-year-old man has been located safe near Cape Spear.
Earlier today the RNC, along with Rovers Search and Rescue and fire and emergency services, responded to Cape Spear after the man was reported missing.
The Rovers Search and Rescue helicopter landed at the parking lot of Cape Spear with the man on board early this afternoon. The man was able to exit the chopper and walk to the Rovers command vehicle on his own. Paramedics were to assess the man at the scene to ensure he is OK.
