Mount Pearl, N.L. —An already wanted 19-year-old man was arrested in Mount Pearl early Saturday morning after the RNC was called to a fight in the city.
Police say during the call, it was also reported that one of the person might be carrying a firearm. With the help of the RNC Criminal Investigation Division, the young man was arrested for having an outstanding warrant, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The firearm was seized and the investigation is ongoing. The man was brought to the St. John’s City Lockup.
