New seats available for Come From Away in Concert in St. John's

No online or phone sales — in person sales only at box office

The producers of Come From Away In Concert will release a very limited amount of seats to the upcoming week-long engagement at Holy Heart Theatre in St. John’s.

The seats became available due to some cancellations, a news release states.

The tickets will go on sale to the public Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. “in-person only” at the Holy Heart Theatre Box Office at 55 Bonaventure Ave.

There will be a maximum allowed of four tickets per person. There will be no sales by phone or online.

Best availability: Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Thursday, Jan. 24 at 1:30 p.m.

Each ticket is $99, plus tax and Holy Heart Theatre service fee. The total per ticket is $117.85.

The St. John’s engagement of Come From Away in Concert is a fundraising event. Net proceeds from this engagement will go to: the six towns that hosted the 7,000 stranded travellers who landed at Gander Airport after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York. The six communities are Gander, Gambo, Appleton, Lewisporte, Norris Arm and Glenwood; Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador;

and the Community Food Sharing Association.

The show runs a continuous 100 minutes and is performed without an intermission.
