The provincial and government and the Association of Allied Health Professionals (AAHP) have reached a tentative agreement in their contract talks.
The agreement, subject to ratification by the AAHP membership, will expire on June 30, 2020. It’s retroactive to June of 2016.
The AAHP represents roughly 750 social workers, pharmacists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, occupational therapists and other health professionals.
Government says both sides worked together to reach a deal that respects the province’s fiscal situation and the important role the association’s members play in the province’s health care system.
