Atlantic Lottery will celebrate another big scratch ticket payout in Newfoundland on Thursday, Sept. 20.
A cheque for $1 million will be presented to a couple from the province’s south coast at Mount Peyton Hotel in Grand Falls-Windsor.
They won the prize playing Ultra, a brand new scratch ticket with a top prize of $1 million that was just issued on Sept. 5.
It’s the first of 10 top prizes to be won in the current series of the $10 Ultra ticket currently in stores.
Last week, Wilson and Rose Coish of Burgoyne’s Cove were presented with a lump sum cash prize of $675,000 for their winning Set for Life scratch ticket.
