The Town of Holyrood is expressing considerable disappointment over recent vandalism to an outdoor performance space in the community.
In a message posted to its Facebook page, the town said the performance gazebo regularly used during Squidfest and other community events was vandalized at some point Monday night, Aug. 20.
“It's sad to see our beautiful outdoor facilities become the victim of vandalism,” the town wrote.
Cloth material surrounding the gazebo was slashed, and garbage was strewn about the stage.
The town is asking any members of the public with information about the incident to contact Holyrood RCMP at 229-3892 or the town office at 229-7252.
