Pasadena Academy damaged after truck allegedly used to ram front entrance

PASADENA
Two youths, one from Deer Lake and one from Pasadena, are facing multiple charges after they allegedly used a stolen pickup truck to ram the front entrance of Pasadena Academy in Pasadena over the weekend.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Deer Lake received a report of extensive damage to the school just after 4 a.m. on Saturday.
The investigation revealed that truck used in the incident was stolen and was located a short time after in Deer Lake.
The youths are charged with mischief over $5,000 for damage to the school, theft of a motor vehicle over $5,000 and mischief under $5,000 for damage to the vehicle.
The two are scheduled to appear in provincial court at a later date.
