GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. — Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers in Grand Falls-Windsor are laying impaired driving charges against a woman who struck the McDonald's restaurant with her car early Friday morning.

When police arrived at the scene of the collision, they suspected the 48-year-old female driver to be impaired. Back at the station, she is alleged to have provided breath sample three times the legal limit.

The accused's license was suspended and her vehicle was seized, and she was released to appear in court at a later date.
