Bay St. George RCMP looking for information on stolen propane tanks

STEPHENVILLE, N.L. — The Bay St. George RCMP is investigating the theft of several large propane tanks from Superior Automotive on Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville.

In a news release from the detachment, police say it’s believed the theft occurred overnight between July 31 and Aug. 1.

Access was gained into a locked caged area at the back of the business and seven, 14-kilogram silver coloured propane tanks were stolen.
