A 35-year-old woman was charged and had her vehicle impounded following a two-vehicle collision in Corner Brook on Wednesday night.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Bliss Street and Carmen Avenue at 7:39 p.m. Officers from the Corner Brook Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, the Corner Brook Fire Department and paramedics from Western Health responded to the scene.
The 27-year-old woman driving the other car was taken to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for observations. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
The 35-year-old woman was charged for failing to obey a stop sign and operating a vehicle without insurances.
