CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The Corner Brook Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is looking for three people believed to have been involved in an armed robbery at a service station on O’Connell Drive in the city Sunday night.
Patrol services and the police dog service responded to the report of an armed robbery at 10:40 p.m.
Arriving by vehicle, police say a single suspect exited the vehicle, entered the service station and presented a weapon while demanding cash.
The suspect obtained cash and cigarettes, exited the building and fled the area prior to police arrival.
There were at least two other people inside the vehicle.
Officers were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle.
The suspect who entered the service station was dressed in a green jacket with a blue vest with a hood, tan pants and white gloves. The person covered their face with the hood and grey/pink sunglasses.
The vehicle is believed to be a dark grey, four-door Mazda 3.
