CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The 58th annual Corner Brook Rotary Music Festival will not be going ahead.

The board announced the festival was cancelled on Friday in an effort to contain the potential community spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The event was scheduled to be held across five venues this year from March 21-31.

It is the first time the event has been cancelled.
