Glovertown RCMP lay charges in alleged stabbing at Dover residence

DOVER, N.L. — A 48-year-old man will appear in Gander provincial court today facing charges related to a stabbing in Dover on Monday.

The Glovertown Royal Canadian Mounted Police have charged Larry Green with break and enter with intent, aggravated assault and breach of an undertaking after he allegedly forced his way into a residence and stabbed a resident during an ensuing physical altercation. Green left the home and was located and arrested later that night. 

The injured man was taken to James Peyton Memorial Hospital in Gander where he was kept overnight and is expected to make a full recovery.
