HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, N.L. — A 33-year-old Happy Valley-Goose Bay man was taken into custody by RCMP after a firearm was allegedly discharged outside a home.
RCMP got a call at about 5 a.m. on Jan. 12 and attended the scene. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
The man is being charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, discharging a firearm and assault with a weapon.
He was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing, which is scheduled for today, Jan. 14.
