BURIN, N.L. — A Burin man was arrested for impaired driving after a tip from the public to the RCMP's Burin Peninsula detachment on Sunday, Jan. 19.
RCMP responded to a report of a possible impaired driver and arrested the 32-year-old man a short while later.
After failing a roadside breath test, he was transported to Marystown Detachment where he provided breath samples nearly three times the legal limit.
The man’s licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded. He has been released from custody and will attend court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving.
