HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, N.L. — Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP arrested a local man for breach of trust on June 12 following a lengthy investigation. Scott Norman, 43, is being charged with allegedly inappropriately soliciting money from people during the driver examination process while working as a driver examiner.

Norman was released by police and is scheduled to return to Happy Valley-Goose Bay provincial court on July 29.

The RCMP believe there are others who may have been victims of this crime and encourage them to come forward and make a report to their local RCMP or RNC detachment.

The charge has not been proven in court.
