Lieutenant Governor hosting garden party in Bonavista July 15

BONAVISTA, N.L. — For the first time ever, the Bonavista Peninsula will be the setting for a garden party hosted by the province’s Lieutenant Governor.

This Monday, July 15, Lieut. Gov. Judy Foote will host a party on the grounds of the Mockbeggar Plantation Provincial Historic Site. The public is invited to attend the event, which runs from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and includes refreshments and entertainment

Traditionally the Lieutenant Governor hosts an annual garden party on the grounds of Government House in St. John’s.

That event will go ahead the following Wednesday, July 24, 2-4:30 p.m.
