CORNER BROOK, N.L. — An emergency water outage and road closure is in place today for Main Street in Corner Brook.
The outage and road closure started at 9:30 a.m., and the city expects both to last approximately six-eight hours as crews make repairs to the water distribution system.
The areas expected to be affected include 1 West Street, numbers 25-50 on Main Street, Goodyear Avenue, Gullage Place and the Stan Dawe Building Supplies building.
Main Street is closed to through traffic from the intersection of West Street to the intersection of Humber Road.
Drivers should use alternate routes.
