HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, N.L. — A 50-year-old man from Natuashish is in police custody and appearing in court today after allegedly causing a drunken disturbance on an Air Borealis medical flight bound for the Labrador community on Wednesday.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have charged the man with mischief over $5,000, two counts of assault, committing an indecent act and two charges under the Aeronautics Act — endangering the safety/operations of an aircraft in flight.

Police say the investigation is continued with assistance from the Natuashish RCMP.
