Paroled Deer Lake man charged with cocaine possession for the purpose of trafficking

CORNER BROOK, N.L. — A Deer Lake man on parole, who was convicted and sentenced to five years in jail in 2018 for his involvement in a home invasion in Reidville, has been arrested.

Tanner Healey, 25, was arrested Feb. 14 by the RCMP in Deer Lake on a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

His parole was revoked and he was remanded into custody Feb. 15 when he appeared in provincial court via teleconference.

On Monday afternoon he appeared on the drug charge in provincial court in Corner Brook, and was scheduled to reappear on that charge March 10.
