RCMP investigates break and enter into businesses at Marystown Mall

MARYSTOWN, N.L. — Several businesses in the Marystown Mall were broken into, damaged, and robbed in the early morning hours of March 26. Burin RCMP released photos of the suspect, who was fully disguised, hoping the public may recognize the person.

RCMP said the suspect forced entry into the mall and broke into Jasmine Jewellers, the Chamber of Commerce office, Chalky’s Billiards, and the Lotto Kiosk. The suspect allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of jewellery from Jasmine Jewellers and a number of lottery tickets from the lotto booth.
