KIPPENS, N.L. — The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are asking for the public's help in locating 39-year-old Jason Howse of Kippens.

Police at the Bat St. George detachment say members of Howse's family informed them that no one has seen or been able to make contact with Howse since early September. They asked the RCMP to check in on him last week.

To date, police have been unsuccessful with local efforts to locate Howse, who is described as standing six feet tall and weighing roughly 185 pounds. He has brown hair, which is sometimes shaved, and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Howse's whereabouts is asked to call Bay St. George RCMP at (709) 643-2118. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (TIPS is 8477), by Secure Web Tips at nlcrimestoppers.com, or by downloading the free and secure mobile app. Search the App Store for "P3 Tips".
