FORTEAU, N.L. — The RCMP in Forteau are seeking information from the public on two men who allegedly conducted a robbery at the Florian Hotel Wednesday morning.
The police said, between 8 a.m. and 8:30 am, two unidentified men left with an undisclosed amount of cash and liquor from the hotel at Buckle’s Point in Forteau.
The men were wearing balaclavas, black or dark-coloured hoodies, dark blue jeans and green rubber Baffin boots at the time of the incident.
They were estimated to be about six feet tall and between the ages of 25 and 40.
The men were last seen driving a dirt-covered black pick-up truck towards Main Street in Forteau.
