CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an incident involving a group of teens at the Valley Mall in Corner Brook on Nov. 22
Const. Scott Mosher said a cluster of students had gotten into an altercation in the parking garage around the lunch hour.
Mosher didn’t have any information on possible injuries arising from the incident and said it had not been determined if charges would be laid.
It was the second incident involving a group of teens at the mall that week.
The day before, police received a call that a crowd of people had gathered outside the mall and it looked like something was about to happen.
“That appeared to be nipped in the bud before anything happened,” said Mosher, as the crowd had dispersed by the time police arrived.
Mosher said the two incidents appear to be separate. He had no indication from police files that they were connected or if the second altercation was a continuation of the first.
