Selfie sign

Gill Regular, left, and Gregory Lovell of West Coast Excavating were working on preparing the concrete base for a sign that will spell out Corner Brook on the White House Lawn on West Street earlier this week. The five-foot-high sign will also feature some Corner Brook-centric art on its multi-coloured letters. The space for the sign was chosen because it is wide open and easily accessible. It’s also expected to draw tourism traffic through the downtown and will be up and ready for selfies by the end of August.
